Gloria Mae Keithley went to her heavenly home peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 94.
Services for Gloria Keithley will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Service, 2210 E Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
Born on September 4, 1931, Gloria was the eldest of seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Keithley; her daughter, Suzie Keithley; her brothers, Jerry Lee, Lloyd Lee and Denny Lee (who passed away at age 13); and her nephew, Denny Lee.
She is survived by her children: Cyndy Keithley, Janet Keithley, and James Keithley; her grandchildren: Dakota Keithley, Hanna Keithley, and Jesse Torres; her sister, Lavon Sorenson of Chaska; her brothers, Roger Lee of Albert Lea and Wayne Lee; Sister in law, Sue Lee, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Gloria had a heart for people and was known for her lifelong dedication to caring for others. She worked as a nursing assistant at Thorncrest in Albert Lea for 15 years. In her earlier years, she was the owner of a in home daycare. She never stopped giving to those around her. Her shark card-playing skills were legendary at the senior center, where she made many cherished memories.
She loved to travel and enjoyed many adventures in her lifetime-including trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, the Florida Keys, Europe, and even a Princess Cruise to the Bahamas. Gloria never missed a Sunday service in her 94 years and trusted God in all things.
Now, she is walking on the golden streets of heaven.
