Gloria survived by her husband, Carl; children, Charles (Peggy) Quast Sr. of Machesney Park, Don Wayne (Verna) Quast of Rockford, Julie (Rick) Rubendall of Machesney Park, Karen (Carl) Winsett of Rockford, Debbie (Steve) Olson of Rockford, Joseph (Jane) Quast of Rockford; grandchildren, Adrian (Amy) Brunette, Charles (Jonna) Quast Jr., Nikkia (Katrina Herrington) Quast, Bruce Nease, Carrie (John) Williams, Hope (Chris) Hadley, Mary Jane (David) Hutson, Chrissy (Tony) Harbison, Ricky Rubendall Jr., Kendra Winsett, Cole (Brittany) Winsett, Jason (Kristi) Olson, Jeremiah (Kelli) Olson, James (Nicole) Olson, Joseph (Maria) Quast Jr., Ben (Jen) Faulkner, Bethany (Nate) Price, and Brandon Faulkner; great-grandchildren, Ava, Addison, Gena, Jaden, Journey, Christopher, Charles III, Jaxon, Alanis, Ethan, Bentley, David Jr. (Bri), Morgan (Skylar), Derrick (Marissa), Makayla, Alex (Katrina), Hailee, Trinity, Kelsey, Cory, Hailey, Dakota, Drake, Don, Ali, Kinley, Kolton, Leona, Peregrine, and Daisy; 9 great-great grandchildren; Carl's children, Michael (Teri) Kirchner of New Jersey, Stephanie (Matthew) Link of Roscoe, and Daniel Kirchner of Rockford; and step-grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlyn, and Caraline. Also predeceased by her brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Rhyan, Ronald Rhyan, and Gene (Betty) Rhyan and great-grandson Nick.
The family would like to thank all who helped in mom's care and journey. They would also like to thank PA Peterson and Mercy Health Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private family graveside service will be held in Argyle Scottish Cemetery, Caledonia, IL with Reverend Terry Pergl officiating. Memorials can be made to Barbara Olson Center of Hope, 3206 N. Central Ave., Rockford, IL., 61101 and Mercy Health Auxiliary Thrift Shop of Rockford, 2830 Glenwood Ave., Rockford, IL., 61101.
