Gloria L. Koller

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Gloria L. Koller, age 86 of Spring Green, unexpectedly passing away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on May 16, 1939, the daughter of Homer and Irene (Anderson) Harms of Highland Wisconsin. She graduated High School in Highland, Wisconsin as the Salutatorian of her class. Gloria was married on November 30, 1957 to Donald G Koller.
Gloria worked for over 40 years at Arthur's Supper Club in Spring Green. She also worked many years at Lands' End in Cross Plains, then the Arena Cheese Factory. She made many lasting friendships along the way.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and mother-in-law. She was the anchor for our family. If our family was a house, she was the hearth. Hard-working with a lot of spunk, she helped to provide all of us with the best life possible. She enjoyed hosting any family get-together, often making too much food! She was always excited to see everyone!
Gloria's love for cooking, Packers, family, and gardening, kept her on the go! She had a unique emotional connection with her grand and great-grandchildren. She had the ability to see the world anew through their eyes.
Survivors include her husband, Don Koller, Spring Green; two daughters, Lisa, (Jerry Kutzke of Renton), WA, Stephanie, (Brian Starker of North Freedom), and a daughter-in-law, Pernecia Koller (Craig Weinbrenner of Mineral Point). She was so proud of her seven grandchildren, Adam Koller of Spring Green, Aaron Koller (Kelly Taylor of Black Earth), Marie Wasner of Sextonville, Olivia Kutzke of Spokane, WA, Joshua Kutzke of Bellingham, WA, Brittany Starker (Kain Schuelke of North Freedom) and Grant Wasner of Milwaukee. She also has four great-grandchildren, Sam, Nick, Lily and Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Irene Harms; brothers. Lavain Harms and Alan Harms; a son, Mark Koller; a daughter, Jeannie Koller–Wasner, and a granddaughter, Amanda Koller.
Wednesday, November 19, 2025 the Spring Green Community Church will hold visitation from 10 AM until the time of service at 1 PM. Reverend Kendall Harger will officiate with the burial in the Spring Green cemetery following the service, and will conclude with a late lunch at the church.
We would like to thank the UW ICU unit at UW Madison for the great care they gave her in her last days.
