Gloria Thomas Lee

Gloria Thomas Lee, 98, of 424 Tanglewood Circle, Roxboro, died Friday, October 10, 2025. Born in Person County, Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late James Bernice and Sophie Clayton Thomas and wife of the late Blythe Trenton Lee. Mrs. Lee was also preceded in death by her brothers, James Bernice Thomas, Jr. and Rudolph "Buck" Thomas and her sister, Shirley T. Holt. Mrs. Lee graduated from King's Business College and began her working career as a bookkeeper at Roxboro Lumber Company and later moved to First Union Bank. She later became manager of Village Gate Apparel. She enjoyed cooking and working in her yard and with her flowers. Mrs. Lee was a member of Rock Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lee is survived by two sons and their wives, Robert "Bob" Lee (Donna) and Garry Lee (Jessica); two brothers and their wives, Larry Thomas (Dorothy) and Bernice Wayne Thomas (Donna); three grandchildren and their spouses, Chad Lee (Allison), Kristyn Sapp (Jon) and Aimee Bowes (Cory); six great-grandchildren, Lexi Lee, Emi Lee, Evan Sapp, Leeland Sapp, Brycen Bowes and Hunter Bowes.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30PM Sunday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home. The graveside services will follow at 3PM Sunday at Person Memorial Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis McDonald.
