Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at MyMichigan Midland Campus. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Almon and June (Spencer) Zirkle, Gloria was born on January 10,1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. Gloria retired from AT&T Telephone Company. She enjoyed researching family ancestry, going to the ca$ino, family trips with her sisters, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters and one son, Christine (Robert) Wells, Midland; Stephen (Brenda) Mellott, Birch Run; Stephanie Mellott, Bridgeport; two grandchildren, Emma and Mason Mellott; three sisters, Bonnie Gilson, Mary Gordon and Barbara (Michael) Yaklin; many nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings, Daniel (Leandra) Zirkle, Diane Ayres, Colleen (James) Kapuscinski.
A private graveside service has taken place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
