John Mellott

John Mellott was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence brought strength, laughter, and warmth to everyone who knew him.

For 50 years, John shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Pam, who preceded him in death two years ago. Together they built a life rooted in commitment, resilience, and family. Their bond was a testament to lasting love.

John was a proud and devoted father to his three children, Russell, Garrett, and Stephanie. He led by example, teaching the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. An extremely hardworking man, John dedicated himself to providing for his family, always putting their needs first.

Brilliant and sharp-witted, John was known for his wicked and unique sense of humor. His quick remarks and clever observations could light up any room and bring laughter when it was needed most.

He found great joy in life's simple pleasures - fishing on a quiet day, playing pool with friends, golfing, and enjoying a good game of cards. These hobbies reflected his love for friendly competition and time spent with those he cared about.

Above all, John adored his three grandchildren and his great-grandson. They were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in watching his family grow across generations.

John's legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the laughter he shared. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 5:00-7:00PM located at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Interment is private.
