Clyde Copeland Jr

Clyde Copeland, Jr of Dover, NJ died February 26, 2026. He was born to Clyde Copeland, Sr. and Cecile Catherine Hill Copeland, March 26, 1927, in Davenport, IA. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War serving as a corpsman. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

He married Patsy Jean Wilkerson in Crestwood Chapel near Louisville, KY, December 1950, and they were married 65 years. Patsy passed away August 18, 2016. Clyde was known for his integrity, sense of humor, and his smile. Most important to him was God, worshiping at the Randolph Church of Christ, and family.

He worked 38 years at General Drafting Company, starting in Louisville, KY, with the majority of his career at Convent Station, NJ retiring in 1990 as President. After retirement, he continued to be actively involved in the Morris County Visitor's Bureau. Additionally, after 27 years working with Meals on Wheels, he was awarded Senior Citizen of the Year for Randolph, NJ.

Clyde is survived by his four children: Pamela Bynog, Dean Copeland, Thomas Copeland (Lynne), and Nancy Riley (Harold) and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and extended family.

He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. The Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm, and the Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10am, both at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10 West, Randolph, NJ 07869. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 18- Quaker Church Rd, Randolph, NJ 08769.
