He married his childhood sweetheart Carol Louise Figg in 1966 and they enjoyed their 70 years together looking to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 5th. They loved traveling, especially Disney related vacations.
He was a "born collector" of everything from shells, stamps, coins, Hardrock pins, Hallmark ornaments and later deco pottery.

Mark Louis Brown, his natural and exceptional son and his "adopted of the heart" son, Alfredo Rivera Reyes of Mexico, who pre-deceased him in 2024. Both have been blessings to his life.
