Norman Dailey Obituary
Norman was married to his wife, Mary Lou (Armitage), for 61 wonderful years. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, often taking scenic trips with a close group of friends. An avid fisherman, he never missed Opening Day of trout season and enjoyed fishing in the Florida Keys. Norman also loved playing softball and competed in a senior league, where he played the outfield and managed the team. In his spare time, he took pride in maintaining a large and productive vegetable garden each year.
Norman earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Farleigh Dickinson University. Before his retirement, he was a manager with the Information Systems & Services department at Allied Chemical in Morris Plains, New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bertha Webb. Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; his daughters, Jennifer Ashenfelter (David) and Rebecca Dailey (partner, Kevin Fairburn); and his grandsons, Nicholas Ashenfelter and Christopher Ashenfelter.
Services will be private.
