Gloria Adele Moss, a loving and humble soul, departed this life on August 19, 2024, just shy of her 100th birthday. Born in St. Louis, MO, on October 5, 1924, Gloria's life was a testament to her enduring faith, passion for learning, and love for her family and community. She spent her golden years in the serene town of Fairview, Tennessee, where she was admired and loved by all who knew her.
An active member of First Baptist Fairview, Gloria was a woman of deep faith. Her love for her Bible and her Lord was well known in her community. A verse from the Bible, Proverbs 3:5-6, sums up her life beautifully: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse is a testament to her life as she walked with God.
Beyond her work and faith, Gloria was an avid reader who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent fishing on quiet afternoons, and she was a dedicated fan of Billy Graham. In her younger days, she loved bowling and dancing with her late husband, Glenn Moss, a memory that brought her much joy in her later years.
We invite you to share your memories of Gloria and upload photos to the memorial page. Please join us in celebrating Gloria's life and honoring her legacy. As we remember Gloria Moss, let us strive to carry forward the love, humility, and faith that defined her life.
