Gloria Onsurez

Gloria De Los Santos Onsurez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on June 20, 2024, in her home surrounded by family, at the age of 82. She was born on January 23, 1942, in Laredo Mexico, and had been residing in Loving NM.
One of Gloria's proudest accomplishments was her dedication to working on the farm and helping to build the Onsurez legacy. She poured her heart and soul into creating a beautiful and thriving place for her family and friends
Gloria found her soulmate in her best friend, Antonio (Tony) Onsurez, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. They cherished their relationship and supported each other through thick and thin. The family was at the center of Gloria's world; she was blessed with 6 children, 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Her love and devotion to her family knew no bounds, she always went above and beyond to provide them with endless love and support. It's true, a mother's love is like no other, there is no denying her prayers have saved us all at one time or another. Gloria will be remembered as a beautiful soul and a godly woman. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, her absence will be deeply felt. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and selflessness.
Gloria is survived by her youngest sister, Yolanda, and her family, as well as her and Tony's six children: Sons, Efrain and wife Sonia Onsurez. Joel and wife Grace Onsurez, Damian and wife Cindy Onsurez. Daughters, Becky and husband Mike Gonzales, Diana Onsurez, Rachel and husband Jose Corona, all from Loving New Mexico.
Pallbearers will be Joel, Roger, Cruz, Nicholas, Joshuan and Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Efrain, Damian, Mike, Jose, Jordan and Rodney.
The family would like to express and acknowledge our love and gratitude to the caregivers and family for all the support, time and love that was provided to our parents. Caregivers: Jane, Chayo, Pearl and Cindy we love and appreciate you all.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 1-6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the West Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
As per the family's request, there will be no reception after the interment. The family kindly requests privacy and no visitors during this time of grieving.
