Gloria (Minsky) Schentzel With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gloria Schentzel, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Gloria passed away on June 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at LVHN-Cedar Crest. Born on August 1, 1931 in Easton, PA, Gloria was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Weitzman) Minsky. Gloria graduated from Easton High School in 1949 and upon graduation began working at the Trojan Powder Company as a bookkeeper. After her marriage to Marvin Schentzel, she worked along side him in the family businesses, Al's Market and later Eatmore Fruit Company. She designed their logo "the freshest guys in town". Gloria also worked for 15 years at the PA State Welfare Department as a case worker. Following her husband's retirement, they moved to sunny Florida. Gloria loved gardening and worked on the gardening committee at her condominium in Tamarac, FL. She was also an avid music lover and was an active basketball player in her youth. Gloria is survived by her daughter Susan and son-in-law Robert Kuntz of Allentown and 2 grandsons, Gregory and Oliver, who will lovingly remember her legacy. She was pre-deceased by her husband Marvin, brothers Arthur and Charles, and sisters Lillian and Shirley. A private service will be held this week at Star of David Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL.
