Gloria Smith Obituary
Gloria A. Smith, age 93 of Canal Fulton, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born October 12, 1930, in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Christiansen) Parke.
She was a member of Amherst Community Church.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 71 years, James Smith; children, Zande Smith, Joel Smith, Kevin Smith, Caron Hospedales, Joanna Might; three sisters, Nancy Sparks, Linda Kuhlman, Charlotte Weisberg; 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls as a teen and as an adult adviser in Canton Assembly #24.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
Burial to follow the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amherst Community Church, 8650 Beatty St. N.W., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
