Gloria Juanita (Green) Williams passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, Indiana.
Gloria was born July 26, 1948, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Lorrine K. (Day) and William Luther Green.
Gloria graduated from Warren Central High School in 1966. After graduation she worked for Indiana Bell as a teletype. She then graduated from the Indianapolis School of Practical Nursing in 1977, while also raising a family. She worked as a long-term care nurse until she retired in 2006. She was beloved by her patients who always spoke her praises. Although Gloria retired from nursing, she continued to care for her family members until the passing of her last sibling in 2024. In her free time, she loved to crochet, bake, cook, garden, watch the Colts play and spend time with family.
Gloria is survived by her children: William Weese, Carrie (Huffman) Boland, Danielle (Huffman) Dennett, Hannah Huffman and Julie (Huffman) Zorich; Grandsons: Johann Cass, William Whitmer, Gabriel Dennett, Daniel Curtis, Jesse Dennett, Noah Dennett, Alexander Zorich, Benjamin Zorich and Booker Boland; Aunt, Leona Johnson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved you all.
Gloria was preceded in death by both of her parents and all of her siblings: James Harvey Green, Richard Arnold Green, Melvin LeRoy Green and Nancy Lynn (Green) Clinard; Daughter, Eve Huffman; Husband, Robert Eugene Williams.
Visitation will be Friday, May 23, 2025, from 11:00-1:00 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. The funeral service will begin at 1:00p.m.
