Broussard-Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Louisiana Funeral Services and Crematory honoring the life of Gloris Joseph Dore, 75, who passed away on Monday, January 08, 2024 at his residence.
Gloris is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Dore; children, Gloris Dore, Jr. and Victoria Dore (Severo); granddaughters, Morgan Norwood (Daniel) and MacKenzie Derouen (Dustin Dupuis); great grandchildren, Aiden Norwood, Zayleigh Dupuis, Lailah Norwood, Sayler Furlow and DeKlynn Norwood; and siblings, Willie Viator (Danny), Junuis Dore, Jr. (Margaret), Joann Verret, and Renes Dore, Sr. (Shirley)
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junuis Dore, Sr. and Uline Dore; son, Greg Dore, sisters, Gloria Viator and Betty Landry; and brothers-in-law, Brian Verret, John Lanclon, and Pat Kibodeaux.
Gloris enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his wife of 53 years, Patsy and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved farming, driving tractors and trucks.
He was a very loved person, no matter where he worked, everyone would call him "Pop". He was a very hardworking man. He loved boiled crabs. He also loved watching Youtube videos about farming and tractors, along with watching Swamp People. He also loved his animals. His dog Roscoe was his best friend.
The family would like to thank Jenny and Marty Toups, Ashley and Jeremy Roper, Cindy and Eddie Viator, Willie and Leslie Emonet, Dwight Farmer, Denise Hunter, Lou and Brook Duncan, Johnny (American Eagle) and everyone that prayed for Gloris and helped in his time of need.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Louisiana Funeral Services and Crematory 108 Hardware Rd Broussard, from 1:00 PM until time of the services.
