Goitom Tedla Obituary
Born in Asmara, Eritrea on August 12, 1958, he was a son of the late Bereket Tedla and Akberet Zekarias. Goitom made his career as a machine operator for Southco and Siemens for many years.
Dedicated to his faith, Goitom was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was a former soccer player in Eritrea and Philadelphia.
Goitom is survived by his beloved wife, Eden Habteselassie; loving children, Noah B. Tedla, and Rebecca N. Tedla; brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; and cousins.
A funeral service for family and friends will be held at 10 am on Tuesday October 11, 2022, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10 Johnson Road, Newark, DE. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
