Golda Jean Hula, born on August 21, 1945, in Los Angeles, California passed away on July 25, 2025, at Unity Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas. She was a cherished community member, deeply loved by her family and friends alike, and her legacy will endure through the many lives she touched.

Golda graduated from Excelsior High School in 1961 and lived a life rich in faith and service. A devoted member of the Cross of Christ Church, Golda exemplified kindness and generosity, often described as someone who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Her loving nature made her not only a mother to her own children but also a maternal figure to former family members who fondly continued to call her “mom.”

Golda enjoyed a variety of hobbies that enriched her life; she delighted in playing on the computer and watching SonLife Broadcasting Network. She had a profound love for travel and cherished the moments spent with her family, making memories that will forever remain in their hearts.

She is survived by her beloved family: her brothers Glen Dobbs (Brenda) and Raymond Dobbs (Teri), her sister Yvonne English (Steven), her sons Wendell Craig and Curtis Craig (Carolyn), her daughter Tina Meier (John), along with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Golda was preceded in death by her father, Rev H.J. Dobbs; her mother, Betty Dobbs; her brother, Danny Dobbs; and her grandson, Wendell Craig Jr.

Visitation will be held on August 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cole Funeral Home, located at 111 Wilbur D Mills Ave, Kensett, AR 72082, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Golda Hula’s life was a testament to love and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
