Goldie Mae Teti, 51, of Monterey, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 20, 1989, while visiting Bartow, WV.
She was born May 29, 1937 at Hightown, a daughter of the late Clay and Viola Washburn Hise.
Ms. Teti had lived in Landover, MD., before returning back to Monterey.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Teti Douglas of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son Michael Andrew Teti Sr., of Laurel, MD; five sisters, Jane Waybright and Mary Hise, both of Monterey, Irene Pingley of Warren, Ohio Hazel Shifflett of Arbovale, WV and Imogene Colaw of College Park, MD.; three brothers, Sterling of Hightown, Edward of Bartow, WV and Clellan Hise of College Park, Md.; and one grandson, Michael Andrew Teti Jr.,
A service will be conduced 11 a.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn. Burial will be in the Hightown Cemetery.
Active and honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in McDowell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
