Goon Gum Gong

In Loving Memory of Goon Gum Gong Goon Gum Gong, age 83, passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Goon spent most of her life with her beloved husband, Jack Wing Gong in Wasco, CA. Together, they built a strong and loving family that was the center of her world. She was the cherished older sister to her seven siblings, the proud mother of four children, and the adoring grandmother of seven grandchildren. Goon will be remembered for her strong work ethic and devotion to her husband and family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, in the bonds of the family she nurtured, and in the countless memories shared by those who loved her. She lived a long and fulfilling life. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us always. Goon is survived by her husband: Jack; sons and daughters: Joann, Michael, Rose, and Victor; daughter-in-laws and son-in-laws: Lu, Pla, and Matt; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Hunter, Megan, Kevin, Nathan, Ethan, and Sarah; siblings: Yick, Becky, Suzie, Louie, Mun, Eileen, and Bill; and countless brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on August 30th, 2025 at Turlock Memorial Park, Turlock, CA at 11am.
