Son Hung Le

Son was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away peacefully at his home in Riverbank, California, on October 7, 2025.
Born in Da Nang, Vietnam on August 28, 1964, Son came to the United States when he was 11 years old and was raised in Modesto where he graduated from Beyer High School and attended Modesto Junior College.
Son built a successful career in sales, dedicating over 30 years to his work before retiring in 2019. Known for his humor, kindness, and authenticity, he touched the lives of countless loved ones and friends.
Son married Vong Inthavong, on June 20, 1992, in Modesto, and together they built a beautiful life centered on love and family. He was a proud and loving father to Samantha and Victoria. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, playing golf, cheering for the San Francisco 49ers, and caring for his beloved dogs, Blanket (passed) and Gigi.
Son is preceded in death by his father, Vi The Le, and is lovingly survived by his wife Vong, daughters Samantha and Victoria, mother Nho Nguyen, brothers Hoang and Yung, sisters Oanh, Yen, and Mary Ann. He is also survived by their respective families including nine beloved nieces and nephews (Alex, Ryan I., Lauren, Ryan T., Ethan, Nathan, Kiana, Noah, and Emily).
Son's warm smile, generosity, infectious laugh, and devotion to his family will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
