Nina Charbakhshi Obituary

A respected educator, Nina served as the principal of Sosan School in Abadan, Iran, until her retirement in 1982. Nina was a member of St. John Assyrian Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gatherings with friends and family, loved to cook, and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.
She leaves behind a loving family, including three daughters, two grandsons, and two nephews. Nina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Aprim.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Nina at 10:00 a.m. on October 15, 2025, at Turlock Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Turlock Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nina's memory can be made to the Assyrian Foundation of America, Assyrian Aid Society, or St. John Assyrian Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
