Robert Frank Costanza

Robert "Bob" Costanza, born on February 25, 1954, in Stockton, California, passed away on October 6, 2025, in Modesto, California at Bethel Assisted Living. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who left a profound impact on all who knew him.
Bob graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to lead a successful career. From 1999 to 2007, he was the owner and operator of Costanza Trucking in Turlock, California, working alongside his wife, Cathi, who coordinated loads while he drove. Bob dedicated over 30 years to the trucking industry, also serving as a safety representative before retiring in 2015.
Bob married Catherine "Cathi" Costanza on November 13, 1999, in Modesto. Known for his unwavering kindness, Bob's generosity and warm spirit touched everyone he met. He enjoyed riding horses, attending races, traveling, and listening to music. Retirement did not slow him down; instead, it gave Bob and Cathi the opportunity to explore new experiences such as ziplining, parasailing, and swimming with dolphins. They cherished going on cruises and traveling to places like England, always surrounded by family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cathi Costanza; children, Christy Costanza, Kate Costanza (Dario), Joseph Costanza; stepchildren, Tammy Coghill, Tracy Hunter, Lara Salazar (Sean), Aaron Alvareado (Estela); brother, William Costanza (Teresa), James Costanza (Patricia); 20 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Costanza, and his sister, Lynda Gandolfo.
A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Denair, located at 4528 N. Gratton Rd., Denair, California, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Bob Costanza, honoring his legacy of generosity and care.
