Gordon Russell Buford, age 79, died Sunday August 03, 2025, following a three year battle with Lymphoma.
Gordon was born May 22, 1946. He was the oldest son of William Thomas Buford & Maxine Buford. He had a younger brother Lloyd. The Buford Family was a construction family, and Gordon had resided in many of the U.S. states. Gordon attended college in Kansas, studying Civil Engineering. Before his retirement, Gordon ran Western Piling & Caisson, a company that was started by his father.
In 1981, Gordon married Judith. He also gained 4 stepsons, Scott, Kelly, Mike(Clarissa), Todd. Gordon and Judi enjoyed Photography, Turquoise jewelry, & fishing. Earlier in his life, Gordon had a pilots license and was part owner of a Cessna single engine aircraft.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, brother and wife. He is survived by his 4 stepsons, a daughter-in-law, His niece and nephew, Marlo & Sean, Granddaughter Jade, Grandsons Justin & Joey, Great grandchildren, Kaydence, Kyrin, Kelly.
