Gordon Eick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Williams-Kampp Funeral Home on Mar. 30, 2026.
Gordon Eick, 75, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2026, after a 14-month battle with glioblastoma.

Born on August 23, 1950 in New Jersey, Gordon spent more than 40 years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, where he played lacrosse, and later received his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Gordon devoted his professional life to the field of business valuation and financial advisory. He served as Manager of Business Valuations at American National Bank before founding LaSalle Valuation Advisors, LLC. He later continued his work as a Senior Manager at Fort Dearborn Partners.

Outside of his career, Gordon enjoyed staying active on the tennis court and engaging in spirited games of bridge. He held a lifelong affection for the Jersey Shore and was a devoted fan of The Rolling Stones. Like their lyrics suggest, he understood that you can't always get what you want, but you find what you need.

He will be remembered for his stubborn resolve, sharp intellect, and deep devotion to his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 52 years, Priscilla; his son Andrew and Andrew's wife Janee, along with their children Isabella, Cecilia, and Ellanora; his son Alexander; and his daughter Caroline and her husband Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Warren and Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those who wish to remember Gordon make a contribution in his memory to the American Brain Tumor Association online at bit.ly/DonateABTA or by mail at:
