Gordon Lee Houston

Upon Gordon’s request there was to be no obituary, only if required by law. Therefore, this is just a public announcement for friends to see. Parts of this public announcement were taken from the obituary he prepared, if needed.

Gordon Lee Houston passed away (croaked “his words”) at his home on November 1, 2025, with his two children by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Lambert Houston, his brother, his parents and his youngest daughter DeeAnn Lee Houston Gilbert. He has always questioned the higher supreme beings why his youngest daughter was taken from this earth at such a young age. It was his wish that his name never to be put on a list to be baptized for the dead into the LDS church.

Gordon is survived by his son and daughter, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Upon Gordon’s wishes there will be no funeral service. But his family would like to invite friends to stop by his house on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life party.

It is Gordon’s wish NO flowers, but to send a donation to the Lupus Foundation in DeeAnn Lee Houston Gilbert’s name.

The family would like to thank Altas Home Health, especially Carli and Heidi, for their care, love and support at the end of our father’s life journey.
