It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon "Rick" Ricky Sexton, who departed this life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 70. Rick was born on May 19, 1955, in Grayson, Kentucky, and spent his later years residing in Edwardsburg, Michigan.

Rick was known for his strong work ethic, he contributed significantly to the factory industry through his employment at Grand Design, where he was respected by both his colleagues and superiors. What mattered most to Rick, though, was his family, and more specifically, the bonds he formed with his grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Kristen Elston; his children, Christopher (Jessica) Sexton, Heather (Larry) Puge, Benjamin (Jennifer) Sexton, Dennis (Rachel) Sexton, Amanda (Tim III) Fletcher, and Steven Kring. He also leaves behind his brother, Tim Sexton; sister, Deborah Warnock; BraeLyn and Keegan who he was adored by; grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, along with numerous relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Gordon "Rick" was preceded in death by his parents, Handford Evelyn and Anna (Brainard) Evelyn, and his siblings, Karen Quinn, Larry Sexton, Gary Sexton, Roger Sexton, Dusty Sexton, Tonya Jackson, Carol Flowers

A Celebration of Life for Rick will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with an open house starting at 3:00pm where family and friends can share memories at the American Legion in Edwardsburg, Michigan.

Rick will be laid to rest in Kentucky at a later date.
