Dorrie (Bonebrake) Sexton, 40, Logansport, passed away Thursday evening, September 18, 2025, at home, surrounded by those who loved her and who cared for her during a hard-fought 3-year battle with brain cancer.

Dorrie was born March 14, 1985, in Logansport, Indiana,

On September 1, 2006, she was married to Michael L. Sexton, Jr., who survives.

A homemaker, Dorrie loved her family deeply. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing bingo, reading, and even joining in games of Fortnite on the computer. She found peace in the outdoors and especially loved camping and fishing. Dorrie was a proud member of the North Central Indiana APA and loved playing pool with her husband.

Surviving with her husband, Michael L. Sexton, Jr. are her children, Skye Leigh Sexton, Alyssa Nicole Sexton (Brendan Johnting), and Blake Michael Sexton; her father, Daniel Bonebrake; her brothers, William (Nikki) Ryan, and Daniel (Cheyanne) Bonebrake; her sisters, Angela (Tim) Lange, Melissa Bonebrake, and Nikki Bonebrake; a cousin who was like a sister, Tonya Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family celebration of life is planned.
