Gordon L Woolley Sr. age 67 of Lakehurst N.J. died at his home Friday, December 29. Born in Lakewood, he resided in Lakehurst most of his life. Gordie worked for Leisure Village HOA for many years till he retired. He was an avid hunter of deer, geese and pheasant. Gordie was an old-line NASCAR fan that loved Rusty Wallace #2. With a vast love for music some of his favorite bands were The Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels Band and Marshall Tucker Band, just to name a few.
Gordie was predeceased by his young sister Donna. Surviving is his daughter Amy and her husband Teon, sons Gordon Jr. and his wife Dawn and Bryan and his wife Jenny. And his brother Billy, sisters Diane Henitz, Brenda Applegate and grandchildren Kyle, Rebecca, Ryan, Mary, Abigail, Arianna and Adrian.
Visitation is on Tuesday, January 9, from 4 to 8 pm with a 7pm service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd. Manchester. If you choose in lieu of flowers please make donations to Wounded Warrior Project 370 8th Ave. New York NY10001.

I married Gordon August 17, 1991 and even though we parted ways May 2000, we never divorced, we were better friends than husband and wife, I am sad that he has past, but he is Truely in a better place, God love him and keep him close, he was a good guy, just had some troubles in life. He will be missed!!
