She leaves her beloved husband of 56 years, Stephen R. Alpert; their devoted sons, Michael C. Alpert and his wife Lisa, of Johnston, RI, and Jason E. Alpert and his wife Andrea, of Wareham, MA; three adoring grandchildren, Josh, Emma, and Bob Alpert; her sister Miriam H. Sleighter, of South Yarmouth; and a niece, Micaela Alpert, of Summit, NJ. Grace was predeceased by her sister, Clarice H. Leighton; and their parents, Clayton L. Holden and Miriam J. (Grevatt).
Grace was born in Newton, MA to the late Clayton L. Holden and Miriam J. (Grevatt). She graduated from Needham High School in 1964, and soon after, attended a two-year program at Chandler School for Women, graduating as a Scientific Research Secretary.
