Grace Boucher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Creel Funeral Home - Lewistown on Jul. 22, 2023.
Grace Edna Boucher, 96, peacefully passed away June 21, 2023 at Valle Vista Manor in Lewistown, Montana. She was one of nine children born to James and Gertrude Ross of Wheatland County ranch, east of Judith Gap, Montana.
In connection to Harlowton, Grace worked at the Continental Bark of Harlo, until her marriage to Ross C. Boucher of Lewistown in 1946. They raised nine children, mostly in Billings, but also in Glendive, Ramsey, and rural Miles City.
She was a good homemaker, seamstress, and gardener; and she loved playing all kinds of card games, such as Bridge and Pinochle.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Ross; two children, Kelly and Carver; her parents; and all her eight siblings. She is survived by seven children: Jim Boucher, Gayle Francis, Joleen Perry, Coleen Kolbeck, Becci Householder, Carla Boucher, and Rayce Boucher. Grace has 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, most live in Montana, but some outside of the state.
Interesting trivia: Many older Harlowton citizens would have known her sister, Neva Cavanaugh, who lived and raised her family in Harlo, and her son, Tim, still lives in town. The Ross ranch remains in the family, owned and managed by her nephew, John Ross. Joleen Perry, her daughter, lives and has raised a family with Richard Perry on their ranch near Judith Gap.
Grace's family was the center of her life. She loved/still loves her family.
Memorial Services: Monday, August 1st, 11:00 a.m. at Harlowton Cemetery (NE corner); then a gathering at the Kiwanis Youth Center in Harlo soon after.
