Grace Ellen Conway was born, August 10th, 1934 in Kingman, Kansas to Inez and Carl Denison. She grew up in Kansas and graduated from high school in Kingman, Kansas. She met the love of her life, Thomas Conway, and they were married September 15, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. They later moved to Granite, Oklahoma where they raised their four children, Terry, Darrel, Martin and Debra. Grace worked for Locklear Roofing in Granite an also worked at C.R. Industries in Hobart for 17 years before retiring. She loved to play games and her favorite past time was spending time with her kids and grandkids, as well as her special friends Bill and Shawn Ward, Sue Lehrman and Chris and Estebaliz Berg.
Grace loved God, and was active in church throughout her life until she was no longer able because of health problems. According to Grace, the most important moment of her life was when she accepted Jesus as her Savior. She said "He has seen me through many things. He has healed me and gave me comfort. So, at the end of our lives the main thing is we have to come to know Jesus as our Savior and try to live our lives as he would want us to." Grace went to heaven on April 18, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Conway; Daughter, Debra Nunn; Parents, Inez and Carl Denison; Sisters, Loreen Seaheart, Esther Roberson and Carlene Denison; Brother, Howard Denison; Three Grandchildren.
