Grace M. Craven

Age 86, formerly of Elmira Heights, NY and most recently of Homosassa, FL, was born March 30, 1939 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Ezra and Margaret (Finch) Schultz. Grace went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Her loving husband of 60 years, William H. Craven preceded her in death November 20, 2016; sister, Dorothy Vines. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children: Carolyn (Mark) O'Donal, Timothy Craven, Margaret "Peggy" Craven and Raymond (Stacie Talada) Craven; brother, Wilbur Schultz; brother-in-law, Billy Vines; along with 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and another one on the way; several nieces and nephews. Grace was a member of the Breesport United Methodist Church while living here. She was a school bus driver for the Horseheads School District and the Pasco County School District in Florida. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 1 pm. Rev. Chip Posse will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery, Breesport, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 13770 Suite # 801889 Dallas, TX 75380 in Grace's memory.
