Grace L. Dale, 69 of Clyde St., Earlville NY, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2023 at her home.
She was born December 31, 1953 in Gloucester, NJ and received her education in local schools. On October 19, 2002, Grace married Dwight “Dewey” Dale in Eaton, NY. He predeceased her on September 6, 2013. Grace had worked in food service at SUNY Morrisville for eight years. She also did child care for Abel, Callie and Trent James. Primarily, she devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. She also loved animals.
Grace was a member of the Randallsville New Life Church.
Surviving are her loving companion, William “Bill” Miller of Bedford, VA; her children, John (JR) and Heather Gelatt of Castleton; Danielle and Scott Hovick of Burlington; Charlie and Billie Jean Gelatt of New Berlin; Dennis Gelatt of Utica; Maverick and Brittany Michelle Gelatt of Holland Patent; sisters, Janet Enley and Dorothy Anderson, both of Blackwood, NJ; Terry Downey of AZ; brothers, Edward (Wendy) Thomas of Smithville Flats; Michael (Bonnie) Thomas of Waterville, OH; Joseph (Jodie), Revense, NE; grandchildren, Gillian, Rory, Mason, Chaz, Cameran, Camille, Everly, Laken, Saylor, Quinn and a “bonus” grandchild, Rebecca Todd. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her canine companion, Bailey. She was predeceased by a sister, Maryanna Enley and two brothers, Robert and Harvey Hardwick.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Georgetown, NY.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 12-2pm prior to the service.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Randallsville New Life Church or to the New Life Christian School, 1528 River Rd., Hamilton NY 13346.
