Grace E. Dozeman

Grace E. Dozeman, 96, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home.
Grace was born in Holland, on October 28, 1926, to William and Bessie (Door) Por. She graduated from Holland High School and later married Jerald A. Dozeman. Grace and Jerald raised their three children in Holland and were charter members of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church. Grace served on the Maranatha CRC Ladies Guild for many years and worked at J.C Penney for 24 years prior to retiring. Grace loved spending time with her family, and they will dearly miss her. Her husband Jerald preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by her children: Lloyd & Jan Dozeman, Eileen and Dr. Steve Van Doornik, Jack Dozeman; grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Jen & Nathan Willink (Josiah, Corena, Everett), Joel & Allison Dozeman (Willa, Teake), Bethany & Tony Bakker ( Eddie, Mary Ann), Alissa & Cory Hamblin (Kelsey, Hezekiah), Hans & Caitlyn Van Doornik, Tina & Alex Ontkos; her sister-in-law Joyce Dozeman, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm, Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th, Holland 49423. Visiting hours will be 2:00-3:00 PM, Friday, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
