Grace M. Flagiello (nee Puglia)

Grace passed away five weeks before her 100th birthday (May 4)! She lived her last two years at CareOne in New Milford where she met many new friends and took part in activities and enjoyed going out for daily strolls. She will be missed by staff and friends that she left behind. Before coming to New Milford, she lived in New York City where she married Salvatore (aka 'Sal' 'Sonny') in 1950 and raised two children on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She was always a New York girl at heart.

Grace was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore in 1984, her parents (Giovanni and Mary), her siblings (Anthony, Lillian and Josephine) and many other family and friends.

Grace is survived by her loving children, Thomas (Angela) and Marie Nappi (Philip); five grandchildren--Salvatore (Damarys), Michael (Julissa), Laura (Matthew), Angelo, Thomas (Thomas); and four great grandchildren--Leonardo, Leanna, Joseph and Luca. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Theresa Block and many loving nieces, nephews and friends:
