- Ms. Goldston -
Grace Goldston, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away September 25, 2025.
Grace was born on September 30th in McAlpin, West Virginia, to the late William and Blanche Goldston. She was greeted in heaven by her dear sister, Ann Goldston, along with her brothers William and Fred Goldston, and her sister Millie Jackson.
A proud graduate of Byrd Priller High School, Grace made her mark as a stenographer in the court system of Harlem, New York, before inspiring many at Random House Publishing in Manhattan. Her adventurous spirit led her to serve in the Peace Corps, where she was stationed in Jerusalem, a place that enriched her life and deepened her love for the world.
Above all, Grace cherished her faith, finding strength and solace in her love for the Lord, her Pastor, and her church family. Her warmth and vibrant personality drew others to her, making her a source of joy and comfort for many.
Grace's passions included reading, traveling, and expressing her unique style with the latest fashions. She leaves behind her loving son, Marcus, and his wife, Cynthia. She is also survived by her brother, James, and his wife, Deanna, from Clayton, Alabama; her sister, Esther Andrews, from Middletown, New York; her sister Mildred and her husband Earl Jackson, from Lawton, Oklahoma; Flora Goldston from the Bronx, New York; Mamie Goldston from Valley Stream, NY; and a cherished extended family of grandkids, step-grandkids, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will all hold her memory dear.
As we remember Grace's life, we celebrate her unwavering spirit, her profound kindness, and the countless ways she touched our hearts. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
