Grace LaVerne Hartman Gregory, a native of Hempstead, Texas, longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana and more recently of Pride, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the age of 92.
Grace is survived by her children and their spouses; Roger Dale (Beth), Gwendolyn Grace Linder (John), Dudley James (Penny), and Keith William (Veronica) Gregory; eight grandchildren, Mona Magee (Brian) Travis Johnson, DJ Gregory, Jonathan Gregory (Lana) Jeremie Gregory, Deanna Friedly (M Wayne) Krista Gregory, Rachel Hood (Kevin); and eight great grandchildren, Kiersten and Reilly Magee, Austin Alt and Caiden Adams, Jack and Cy Gregory, Kyler and Landon Hood. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Elsa Hartman; her husband, William Roger Gregory; and siblings, Alwood Hartman, Delma Hartman, Ben Hartman, Jr., and Natlin Spriggs.
Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Service which will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Pride, Louisiana with visitation from 9:00 am -11:00 am, service to begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana with family.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, and sent to P.O. Box 10, Pride, Louisiana 70770
