A ceremony celebrating the life of Pat G. Scivicque will be held on Saturday at First Baptist Church Denham Springs visitation will begin at 10:00 am until time of service at 12 noon, officiated by Dr. Leo Miller. Graveside service will be at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Scivicque was born on October 15, 1928, in Port Vincent; he went to be with the Lord on his 97th birthday in Denham Springs.
He served with the United States Navy from 1951 until 1959, working with the Secret Service, a faithful member of First Baptist Church. He retired from Kaiser in 1979, worked with Mo-Dad Sewage Systems, and as Director with Livingston Public Works, also, served as a Council Member with the Livingston Parish Police Jury/Council, and was an avid golfer.
He was an excellent craftsman with woodworking and gifted over three hundred of his wooden designs. He was a member for 73 years with Denham Springs Masonic Lodge 297 F & AM, a member for 78 years with UA local 198 Pipefitters and Steamfitters.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Janice Benton Scivicque, son Ron Scivicque, parents Lewis and Mattie Andrews Scivicque, brothers, Joe Sidney, J. L., and Matt Allen Scivicque, grandsons Kevin Michael Harris and Cody Scivicque, and a niece Joette Scivicque Lewis.
Survivors include his daughters Ann Scivicque Harris (Mike), and Lyn Rancher (Hardie), grandchildren Alysha Leonard (Adam), Blake Harris (Morgan), and Maddie Scivicque, great grandchildren Jodee Kent, Jaden Kent, Jack Harris, Heidi Blanchard, Kate Leonard, Hadley Leonard, and Parker Leonard.
Honored to serve as pallbearers Blake, Jodee, Jaden, Hardie, Mike, Adam, Bill Stegall, Roy Zachary, and Jim Benton.
Memorial gifts may be given to LAUNCH to honor Pat's life and memory.
