The Wood Mortuary, Inc. - GreerGrace Howard Obituary
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Israel Elford and Nora Wofford Duncan, she was a retired employee of Greenville County Schools and a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joe A. Howard of the home; two daughters, Anita Blackwell (Robert) and Joanna McCarson (Preston) both of Greer; and two grandchildren, Jenna McCarson and David McCarson.
Mrs. Howard was predeceased by two brothers, Talmadge Duncan and Arnold Duncan and six sisters, Martha Pauline Duncan, Hazel Duncan, Dorothy Lindsey, Velma Atkins, Geraldine Hines, and Judy Alline Duncan.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Highland Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tony Pearson. Burial will follow in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the church.
The family will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 3270 Highway 414, Taylors, South Carolina 29687 or Agape Care Hospice, 3 Independence Point #105, Greenville, South Carolina 29615.
