Grace Marie Lambert

Grace Marie Lambert, a beloved resident of Calhoun, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on Sunday, July 16th, 1944, in Rural Red Oak, Georgia, Grace was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her.

Grace's life was a testament to her love for people and her unwavering dedication to her family and community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Dorothy Mae Herrick; her adoring husband Richard L. Lambert; and her children, Dennis and Donna Cato. Despite these profound losses, Grace's spirit remained resilient and full of love.

She is survived by her grandchildren Leslie Hindmon and her husband Nick and their daughter Bailey, Will Evans and his wife Maddie and their children Bennett, Gwenyth, and Rhett, and Angel and her children Heather, Carlos, Alexis; son, Dan Cato; son, Larry Lambert and his wife Melody and their daughter Alaina; daughters, Donna Orberson and Beth Lambert Kosiba; Grace was also blessed with a great number of great grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Not to mention all children she called hers along the way.

Grace had a passion for visiting family and friends and created cherished memories with them all. Her job at Walmart was a way to connect with people, whom she cared for deeply. Known for her welcoming nature, Grace always kept her door open to anyone and everyone, always ready to offer a warm smile and a listening ear. She always talked about how much she loved the mountains.

Visitation will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cartersville, GA, on Monday, November 17th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Grace's life will take place at the same location on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at 11:00 am with Keith Willard officiating. Grace would want everyone to know that she is rejoicing with Jesus and to wear happy colors in her honor.
