Kimberly Davidson Obituary

Visit the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services website to view the full obituary.
Kimberly Lee Davidson, a cherished resident of Cartersville, GA, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in Logan, West Virginia, on July 8, 1967, and raised in Hewett, Kimberly's life was defined by her deep love for her family and her strength in the face of life's challenges.
Kimberly is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Bob Davidson, who stood by her side and shared countless memories through their years together. She was the proud mother of her son, Shawn Arnold, and her daughter and daughter-in-law, Chelsey Davidson and Kassie Rooker. Kimberly's spirit and joy for life live on through her grandsons, Chandler Arnold, Carson Davidson, and Crush Lamont, who brought endless happiness to her days. She leaves behind a sister, Patricia Caudill; brother James Covey; brother-in-law Gregory Caudill; nieces Sarah Logie, Jamie Fules, Carrie Flannery Taylor and Rachel Guzan; great niece Emerson Guzan; nephews Thomas J Logie, Jonathan Pease, and Nicholas Pease; great nephew Elijah Haven; cousins Dana Burger and Kristen Krause,
Kimberly was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arnold Lee Ball and Dianna Jo Ball, and her brother David Ball. She is also reunited with her grandparents, Wilmer and Mildred Ball; uncles Paul Ball, Johnny Flannery, Danny Ball, and Jack Purcell; aunts Carol Ball, Sonya Flannery, and Corki Purcell; cousin Robin Flannery Oyler, and her special guardian dog, Maggie, whose companionship brought her much comfort.
She dedicated herself to supporting and nurturing her family, centering her life around those she loved. She had a heart of gold and though she was disabled, that did not slow her down. She was very active and independent. She loved to cook, and was famous for her biscuits n' gravy. She enjoyed crafts such as quilting, sewing, crocheting, and ceramics. She adored her best friend Ann Heath and her husband whom have since passed, but she missed them dearly.
A burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home the same day.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kimberly's memory to a charity of choice that reflects her values of empathy and community support.
