Deaconess Grace Omoregie, of Randolph, MA, formerly of Benin Edo State in Nigeria, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1943, in Benin City, Nigeria. Grace was a daughter to the late Erhimwinghae Uwadiae and Eniye Osakhuwhomwan, and she carried the warmth of her homeland in her heart throughout her life.
Grace's journey was one of dedication and joy. She was the beloved wife of the late Godfrey Omoregie, and together they raised a family that became her pride and joy. She was a nurturing mother to Harriet Agharese Omoregie of Toronto, Canada, Henry Omoregie of Nigeria, Ede-Nosa Ebo of England (UK), Osayande Paul Omoregie of Nigeria, George Omoregie of Boston, MA, and Nosayaba-Izedonmwen of Randolph, MA. Her legacy continued through her cherished grandchildren: Evidence, Naomi, Osazee, Gregory, Isioma, Odinaka, Oduwa, Nelson, Andrew, Trayston and her great grandson Eghosa. She will also be remembered by her in-laws; Mr. Kezien Ebo (son in-law), Mr. Abel Izedonmwen (son in- law), and Maria Esezobor (daughter in-law) who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Grace's siblings John, Mdm Rose, David, Benson, Odaro, Abieyuwa, Iroghama, and the late Michael will always remember her as a guiding light in their lives. She was a caring aunt to Osaze, Ikponmweonsa, and Godspower. Her presence being a source of comfort and inspiration to her entire family.
Throughout her life, Grace was a respected educator in Nigeria, where she touched the lives of countless students with her wisdom and kindness. Her passion for teaching was evident in the way she lived her life, always encouraging and empowering those around her to learn and grow.
Grace's interests extended beyond her professional life, as she found her greatest joy in the time spent with her family. Her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds, and she was the heart of every family gathering.
Grace Omoregie's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the enduring impact she has left on the world.
