Grace E. Orner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, Grace E. Orner, 67, of Manchester, NJ. She passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family, after battling pancreatic cancer for three years. Born in Long Branch, she later settled in Point Pleasant, where she met the love of her life, Dennis. They made their home in New Egypt for 28 years, where they lovingly raised their family, before moving to Manchester in 2015.

She worked for Jackson Township Municipality for 20 years before retiring in 2023. Grace enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She welcomed everyone with open arms, turning friends into lifelong family and offering love and support wherever she went. She took great joy in being part of her children's and grandchildren's lives, always present for their activities and special moments. She loved nature and the mountains, being at home with a house full of people, the holidays, and drinking wine by the fire.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, with whom she shared 41 wonderful years; her five beloved children, Justin, Heather, Lara, Dennis Jr., and Timothy; her daughter- and sons-in-law, Amy, Don, and Stephen; her six cherished grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Timothy, Tyler, Kylie, and Kora; and her loyal brothers, Edward "Butch" and Richard. She will be remembered not only as a devoted mother to her own children, but also as a mother figure to the many she cared for and loved throughout her life.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 from 12p - 2p and 4p - 6pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ, with a Life Celebration Service at 5:30 PM.
