Grace Mary Rotelli

Grace Mary Rotelli, nearing six months old, passed peacefully in her parents' arms on December 29, 2023, at Lurie's Children's Hospital.
Born July 1, 2023, "Amazing" Grace is the daughter of Travis Cody Rotelli and Catherine Mary (Smale) Rotelli, and twin sister to James Eric Rotelli. During her brief time on earth, Grace enjoyed books, hair bows, foot massages, and hearing stories about her twin brother. Grace was a fashionista and loved dressing up and having her nails and toes painted. She brought her family and hospital staff smiles and laughter, even on the toughest of days. She loved cuddles and being held close by her parents and grandparents. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 11th from 4-8pm at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 East Main Street. The family requests that attendees wear bright colors and bright smiles to match Grace's vibrant personality.
The family would like to thank the staff at Central DuPage Hospital and Lurie's Children's Hospital for the incredible, loving care provided to Grace and James over the past six months. The doctors, nurses, and staff cared for them like their own and continue to be supportive friends to Mom and Dad. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in memory of Grace to Ronald McDonald House near Lurie's (rmhccni.org) or Gift of Hope (giftofhope.org/give). Both organizations supported the family immensely in their time of need. Ronald McDonald House provided meals and housing during the three months spent at Lurie's, while Gift of Hope was instrumental in coordinating Grace's final act of love - her organ and tissue donation. Grace will always remain her parents' precious baby girl and they can't wait to hold her and kiss her cheeks again in heaven one day.
