In Florida, Grace enjoyed fishing and boating with her family, but her heart brought her back to Columbia.
In honor of Grace's final wishes there will be no formal services and any future services will be announced by her family.
Grace Elizabeth Sholly, 79, of Columbia passed away on January 5, 2025. She was born in Columbia to the late Clarence and Bessie Mae Brady and spent most of her life in Columbia.
Grace was a graduate of Columbia High School. Following graduation, she worked at the Columbia Borough Office before moving to Florida and becoming a homemaker. In Florida, Grace enjoyed fishing and boating with her family, but her heart brought her back to Columbia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who adored her family, especially her grandkids.
Grace leaves behind her daughter, Tammy, wife of Ricky Walden of Columbia; her son, Brian Sholly; three grandchildren, Joshua, Kirstie, and Matthew; three great grandchildren, Felicity, Lucas, and Elliott; five siblings, Earl Lowry, Jerry, husband of Susan Brady, Buddy, husband of Elaine Brady, Catherine King, and Barry Brady; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leo Sholly in 2022 and seven siblings.
In honor of Grace's final wishes there will be no formal services and any future services will be announced by her family.
