Grace Warrix

Grace Warrix, 80, Jackson passed away Wednesday, December 13, at her residence. She was a homemaker, former hairdresser and a racecar driver. She was co-founder of the Breathitt County Museum. She was the daughter of the late Kelly and Sallie Morris Spencer. She is also preceded in death by siblings, Darcus Marie Menthorn, Elmer Ray Spencer, Irene Spencer, Loretta Smith. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lewis Henry Warrix; son, Chadwick Lewis (Lora) Warrix; daughter, Tia Rene Blanton; stepdaughter, Lesley Warrix; goddaughter, Annalina Kazikas; sisters, Goldie(Kenneth) Warfield, Phyllis(David) Goff, Emma Short; grandchildren, Elijah Ryan Warrix, Olivia Grace Warrix; host of nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Visitation Saturday, December 16, 12:00 PM at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM with Simmie Ray Bowling in charge. Eulogy will be read by Lora Duff Warrix. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be friends and family.
