Jerry Lee Warrix, Sr., 74, of Ikes Fork, WV passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Jerry was the Patriarch of the Warrix Family. Jerry was a loving father, brother and uncle. He was the youngest of 14 children born on December 16, 1950 a son of the late Alex and Margaret Warrix. Jerry was a twin brother to Gary Neal who passed away in 1963. Jerry served in the United States Army from 1970-1971. He married the love of his life, Sharon in May 1973.

In addition to his parents and twin brother, Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon in 2016; brothers, James Preston Bryan, James Edward, John, Douglas, Ronnie and Randall Mose Warrix; and sisters, Marie Bishop, Ethelene Roberts, Vivian Lester, Audrey Lester and Truby Whitt.

Survivors include his children, Leann and Greg Sexton of Stony Point, NC, Diane and Joe Andrigo of Gary, WV, Jerry and Lori Warrix of Princeton, WV, his dog Snookie; brother, Bobby and Evelyn Warrix of Iaeger; sister, Hulda Oyler of Ikes Fork, WV; his best friend, Odis and Drema Riffe; numerous nieces and nephews; his grandchildren, Cameron and Rhaegan Falls of Princeton, WV, Conner and Landon Andrigo of Iaeger, WV; and his God grandchildren, Sarah, Sydney, Zaylin and Carson Warrix of Statesville, NC and a host of others who called him Papaw.

Special thanks to his caregiver and niece, Debbie Cline and all the family who helped us care for Daddy this past year.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 12 o'clock with Pastor James Cline officiating at The Church of Zion at Ikes Fork. Burial will follow in the Paris Lester Cemetery at Ikes Fork. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at The Church of Zion in Ikes Fork Monday evening, September 1, 2025 after 6 p.m. Evening services will be held at 7 p.m.

Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
