Kenneth Ray Mounts

Kenneth Ray Mounts, 66, of Iaeger passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.

Kenneth was born July 9, 1959 in Welch a son of the late Lawson Justice and Telina Mounts. Kenneth was an electrician and was employed by Tri Co Electric; he loved his family, horses, coon hunting and fast cars

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Blankenshp.

Survivors include his fiancée, Carrie McGuire of the home; six sons, Kenneth Junior Branham and wife Leigh, Michael and George Mounts all of Panther, Lucas Mounts of the home, Austin Mounts of Seattle, WA, and Eugene Mounts of Bluefield, WV; two daughters, Melaine Roberts and husband Tony of and Rebecca Hutchinson and husband Joe all of Panther; nine grandchildren, Maranda (Dalton), Seth (Courtney), Nathan (Amber), Juleigh, Jacob, Stephanie, Barbara, Tony and Hadley; three great grandchildren Ryleigh, Paisley and Kaden; one sister Truly Blankenship; three brothers, Dennis and Jessie Blankenship and Wayne Mounts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12 o'clock with Pastor Billy Branham and Elder Fred Bailey officiating at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church in Panther. Burial will follow in the Blevins Cemetery at Ritter near Avondale. Pallbearers will be

Family and friends may visit with the family Sunday evening, March 8, 2026 after 6 o'clock at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church where evening services will be held at 7 o'clock.
