Gracie Juanita Gillis (Evans), age 88, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Gracie's legacy continues through her 18 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Katherine Osteen and half-brother Jerry Evans, both of Alabama. Gracie held them close in her heart and prayed for them daily.

Gracie was preceded in death by her husband Buddy Gillis, beloved grandson Christopher Avery; her parents Samuel and Maggie Evans; sisters Johnnie May Stiles, Roberta Garrett, Louise Hudson, Agnes Lovell, Billie Witworth; brothers Frank Evans and Paul Evans; and half-brother John Evans.
