In loving Memory of

Grady Ted Baird

12/13/1957 - 09/07/2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Grady Baird, who left us on September 7, 2025 A loving father, grandfather, and a friend to many, Grady's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He was 68 years old. He is preceded in death by His Parents Richard & Francis Baird, Brother Gary Baird and Sister Gayle Peaandn.

Born on December 13,1957 in San Antonio Texas, Grady was a man of great character and unwavering dedication to his family. He spent his career as a forklift mechanic, where he was known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to doing the job right. He took immense pride in his work and passed on his knowledge and values to those around him.

Beyond his professional life, Grady's greatest joy was his family. He was a dedicated father to his daughter, Sharon Baird, and his sons, Cory and Cody Baird. He also embraced his stepdaughter, Selby Villapando, with an open heart. He was a man who found happiness in the simple things, whether it was hunting with his buddies or spending weekends fishing at the coast, or spending time with his family.

Grady's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Elora, The twins Damian & Richard, step granddaughter Chloe, Olivia and Sophia Villapando. He was a doting and proud grandfather who loved to share stories and create lasting memories with each of them. He is also survived by his former wife, Cindy Baird, and former wife Diane Martin with whom he shared many years and a family.

Grady will be remembered for his jokes, smile and how he can fix anything. He taught his children the importance of hard work, integrity, and the value of a good sense of humor. His presence will be deeply missed, but the lessons he taught and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of his family forever.

We would like to thank La Diferencia Hospice nurses and Gonzaba for the help and direction they provided.
